Jonathan Bishop is an information technology executive, researcher and writer. He founded the Centre for Research into Online Communities and E-Learning Systems in 2005, and has written over 40 peer-reviewed publications since doing so.
Jonathan chairs the Digital and Online Wellbeing for Network Societies Group (Downes) in Canada. He also chairs the Electronic Law for Internet Empowerment Group at the European Parliament.
Jonathan’s research specialisms include Internet trolling and gamification and he is known for his work on Classroom 2.0 and Autism Technology.
